The Heat Reuse Platform develops tools for local operators to guide and speed up projects for data centre heat recovery. In this section, tools are available from their first version onwards. Anyone may test these tools out with their data, projects or even hypothetical case studies. As we strive to continually adapt and improve tools, we welcome any feedback and suggestions for improvement.
ROM calculator – economic feasibility
HRP’s Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) calculator supports the economic feasibility study at an early stage. The tool is intended for use before any contractual relations between two parties are entered and works with the best available information at that early stage. The document includes instructions and a decision tree on the first sheet.
